Brothers and Sisters,

As you are aware, the Acts Crisis Teams responded to the needs of our neighbors and friends in Moore Oklahoma.

As I write this, the emotions that fill my heart cannot be explained. There was loss of life, there was a path of devastation beyond imagination and there will be a scar etched in this state and in the hearts of those who were directly affected by the tornado.

Our heart is always to reach out and serve the needs of the victims both spiritually and in practical ways. I am blessed to share that in this particular disaster, the personal needs and physical needs were tended to by the church. The response was overwhelming from those who follow Jesus. In God’s infinite wisdom, He called His army of believer’s and they responded!

Due to the enormous response of the body of Christ, finding areas to establish a long term work for numbers of servant’s is wonderfully not available. The areas of distribution, clean up and removal for the most part have been handled by the body of Christ over the past week and this is a total blessing.

If we discover that there is a legitimate need that requires deployment from those who are willing to serve with us, we will not hesitate to contact you.

Finally, let me just say that there is no greater peace than to see how many of you were willing to respond and become the hands and feet that our Lord and Savior has called us to be.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments and we thank you for your prayers and your willingness to serve.

Dan Adams, ACTS Area Coordinator for Oklahoma will be your point of contact from this point on. After reading this update, if you still plan to bring a team, please contact the Operations Center for ACTS at 972-516-2287 and we will connect you with Dan prior to deploying. He will give you the current status of the work opportunities, if any.

In His Precious Name,

Pastor Eric Coburn
